“ My coworker and I were meandering Paris and looking for a bakery when we decided to stop for a drink at this cute café bar, Le Courcelles We ordered Campari Spritzes and fairly quickly decided to eat, each ordering the organic egg and aged cheese omelette with lettuce hearts. It was simple, but it tasted so good! While I was familiar with it, my coworker was not aware of how good non-American bread is, especially in France! We enjoyed a few pieces with fresh extra-virgin olive oil and crushed salt while we enjoyed our drink, drinks and food and the weather. While we spent a couple hours here, the on-floor manager, Pierre, engaged us with conversations and a great smile! He was very friendly and offered some helpful hints on things to do on future layovers! I’ll definitely be back and I will definitely be hunting out peers recommendations! Until then, Au Revoir ”
“ we went here twice because it was close to our hotel. both times it was a very good choice. before we first came, I read the reviews, but I had a good impression of the place and boy oh boy did we not regret it. we came for dinner and breakfast. the waiters were terribly nice both times. when we were here, there were no tourists, only locals. the food was brilliant, our waiter was kind and helpful. glad we discovered this place. thank you very much for your kindness and treats! ”
“ I am so glad my family and I did not check the stars before going in. This was the best food I’ve had in Paris! The menu accommodated both the vegetarians and the meat eaters. We had excellent veggie burgers, escargot, boeuf bourguignon, cheesecake, tea, coffee and non-alcoholic cocktails (Taki Taky). My cocktail was more of a sour drink and extremely refreshing! The atmosphere was perfect for pictures and it was very accessible to get to, it’s located right across the metro station . Noelle (“No-No”) was our waitress and she was awesome. :) ”
“ Beautiful garden overlooking the subway entrance - fun to watch people walking by. Beautifully decorated with flowers, professional service. The menu changes at 12:00 from breakfast to daily. Small breakfast (coffee, juice, croissant) for 11 euros. We went here 3 times during our 4 day stay in Paris. ”
“ We stayed nearby and found this charming brasserie. We were pleased to find them open quite late and had dinner on two occasions during our trip. We went back the second evening because we enjoyed the fresh, authentic French cuisine. During both meals, we received friendly service and felt welcome, and it was fairly busy both evenings we were there. The food is delicious; excellent place to try some seafood. The escargot was our favourite among several restaurants that we tried (including a Michelin star) during our 6 day trip. Our server made good recommendations, was attentive and quite funny! We would love to go back. The menu indicated that it had been there since 1884, and it truly felt like a little piece of French history, being there. ”
